La Mamounia Marrakech Event Illumination

The King’s Palace Hotel

La Mamounia is commonly known as one of the Leading Hotels of the World. It’s located in the rural of Marrakech, famous for its spacious gardens, Maroccan handmade tilework, flowing lines of arabesque sculptures and textured and velvety smooth fabrics. It was a bit of an adventure to let all the projectors go through Maroccan customs, but it went well, and in the end there were two subsequent evenings perfectly illuminated.

Motto for this illuminated birthday party was Route 66. La Mamounia is an absolute dream place anyway, but with Hollenberg’s light art this exclusive private event became a mindblowing experience for the guests. The handmade light art images consisted of Maroccan motives and, of course, Route 66.

Casablanca at Beldi Country Club Marrakech

Dinner in Casablanca Style

The second day was an homage to the movie Casablanca, which played in Marocco at that time, bringing Humphrey Bogart’s and Ingrid Bergman’s intense movie play in mind. In Beldi Country Club we have divided the dining room by a light curtain with image projections of Rick’s Cafe. After dinner, at midnight, the location was spectacular widened to an illuminated dance floor. The light art motives created an inspiring feel-good atmosphere.

The concept of this highlight event was planned long-term in advance, including lots of management tasks in preparation and operational implementation.
